What is the connection range of the Ion Pro hearing aids?Updated 7 months ago

The connection range limit between your hearing aids and your smartphone (where the app is) is around about 10 feet. This is the maximum range between them that would still allow the user to maintain a connection when using Bluetooth for streaming or for a phone call. 

Our recommendation is to keep the hearing aids and the app within 5 feet of each other to maintain the smoothest and most reliable connection. 

Separating the two beyond the recommended range may cause a disconnection, which would be displayed as "Can't find your device." within the app.

What should I do if they get disconnected?

If they get disconnected as a result of exceeding the maximum connection range, bring them close together again and the hearing aids should reconnect with the app. 

If it does not automatically reconnect, press the buttons on each of the device for 4 seconds to initiate the connection process again.
